Industrial Baseline & Shift Evaluations

Noise is a hazard of industrial workers and workers of any occupation who are repeatedly exposed to loud noise. Hearing damage from noise is fully preventable when the right precautions are taken from the start. Regular hearing tests to evaluate any early signs of hearing loss, as well as everyday preventative measures such as the use of ear plugs go a long way toward prevention of permanent hearing loss. Bluegrass Hearing Clinic is your local Lexington, Kentucky leader for workplace hearing conservation. We offer industrial testing options to measure baseline and annual hearing. Annual hearing examinations allow our audiologists to compare an employee’s current hearing to their initial baseline audiogram, which helps to determine if there has been any significant shift in hearing loss. In most cases, baseline testing can be performed on site at the industry or business. Besides industrial hearing tests, Bluegrass Hearing Clinic offers testing for obtaining and maintenance of Commercial Driver License. We also offer custom earmold impressions for hearing protection that are OSHA approved and an exclusive opportunity for industry and businesses to participate in our BETTER HEARING PROGRAM.
