About Our Audiologists

Bluegrass Hearing Clinic was founded by Dr. Deanna Frazier in 1997. Since that time, the clinic has grown to 11 locations throughout Kentucky. At Bluegrass Hearing Clinic, pride ourselves on employing audiologists, and providing state-of-the-art hearing technology for over 20 years.

Bluegrass Hearing Clinic offers hearing solutions as well as other assistive listening devices that are more precise and user-friendly than ever before. We provide noise protection, swimming, and custom wireless earbuds solutions, as well as offer device accessories that prevent, protect, and promote better hearing.

At Bluegrass Hearing Clinic, we believe our greatest asset is our patients. Nothing makes us happier than knowing our patients feel “at home” and we have improved their communication abilities and relationships. We are dedicated to providing the best services and products in a personal, friendly, and comfortable environment. After all, better hearing is better living.

Deanna Frazier, Au.D., CCC-A

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Deanna Frazier graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders. In 1993, she graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Master of Arts in Communication Disorders and received her Doctorate of Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2006.

Dr. Frazier is the founder & owner of Bluegrass Hearing Clinic., LLC. She and her family live in Richmond, KY. She sees patients in Richmond, Paris, & Manchester. Dr. Frazier is affiliated with the following professional organizations:

Stacey High, Au.D., CCC–A

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Stacey High has been with Bluegrass Hearing Clinic since August 2009. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2005 from the University of Kentucky. She received her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Louisville in 2009. Dr. High completed her externship in San Diego at Rady Children’s Hospital. She and her family live in Mt. Washington, KY. Dr. High sees patients in our Bardstown and Elizabethtown locations, and she is affiliated with the following organizations:

Vanessa Ewert, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Vanessa Ewert has been with the Bluegrass Hearing Clinic team since June 2011. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Kentucky in 2008 and her Doctorate of Audiology degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2012. She completed research with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) on the use of double hearing protection and noise. Dr. Ewert is a past president of the Kentucky Academy of Audiology. She is a resident of Lexington, KY. Dr. Ewert is an audiologist at our Danville, Nicholasville, & Lexington offices. Dr. Ewert is affiliated with the following organizations:

Daena Wilds, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Wilds joined the Bluegrass Hearing Clinic team in September of 2015. She brings with her over 30 years of experience in Audiology and Hearing Aid experience. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee in 1983, her master’s degree in 1985 from the University of Louisville, and her Doctorate of Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2009. Dr. Wilds is a resident of Lexington, KY where she lives with her son. Dr. Wilds sees patients in the Mt. Sterling and Lexington offices. She is affiliated with the following organizations:

Paula Evans, Au.D., CCC-A

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Paula Evans joined Bluegrass Hearing Clinic in August of 2016, after working for nearly 26 years with Dr. Robert Woods, ENT. Dr. Evans brings over 35 years of experience to Bluegrass Hearing Clinic. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders from Brescia University. She completed her master’s degree from Florida State University and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2006. She currently resides in Versailles with her husband. Dr. Evans sees patients in Danville, Nicholasville, & Lexington. She is affiliated with the following organizations:

Lucinda Batta, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Lucinda Batta joined Bluegrass Hearing Clinic in October of 2016. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in 2012 from Purdue University, and received the highest award for academic achievement in 2015, her Doctorate of Audiology from Indiana University. Dr. Batta is originally from Tennessee but currently resides in Lexington, KY with her husband and son. Dr. Batta sees patients in Frankfort, Paris, & Cynthiana. Shelley Heath, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Shelley Heath joined Bluegrass Hearing Clinic in 2017. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Kentucky and her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Memphis in 2017. While in Memphis, she paired with medically trained interpreters to deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate services to the Spanish speaking population of Memphis. Dr. Heath specializes in Pediatric Diagnostics. She currently resides in Lexington with her husband. Dr. Heath sees patients in Richmond, Nicholasville, and Mt. Sterling. Dr. Heath is affiliated with the following organizations:

Sarah Murphy, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Sarah Murphy joined Bluegrass Hearing Clinic in 2016. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Eastern Kentucky University in 2011. She obtained her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2015. Dr. Murphy resides in Lebanon, KY, where she was born and raised. Dr. Murphy sees patients in Bardstown and Danville. She is affiliated with the following organizations:
